Welcome

I teach inquisitive and serious seekers the key teachings of yoga in a way that is authentic, accessible and applicable, allowing them to deepen their understanding of yoga, and of themselves, in order to transform their practice and their lives.

This includes all of the limbs of yoga, including asana, meditation, and philosophy. Please browse this website to discover what I offer to help you experience the depth and breadth of yoga.

I am an Authorized Teacher of Neelakantha Meditation, offering formal personal instruction into this profound and transformative practice.

My asana classes stress both alignment and flow. Students learn how to connect with breath, connect breath with movement, and safely move to promote healing and prevent injury.

One of my greatest passions is studying and teaching the great texts and stories of yoga, bringing them alive to modern seekers and guiding students to a greater access of how to apply this wisdom to live more loving and productive lives.

CINDY’S BOOK IS AVAILABLE!

Align and Refine: The Journey of Yoga and Meditation is the book I wished I’d had as a new student of yoga nearly forty years ago. It describes the journey of yoga and meditation from the perspective of a modern-day yogi, emphasizing traditional teachings from Classical Yoga and Tantra in a way that is accessible and applicable. The book includes opportunities to reflect and explore the teachings, making them applicable to everyday life. Align and Refine considers the human condition, the impulse for something more, and how the practices of yoga and meditation are supportive of living an engaged life in the world for the benefit of oneself and the world at large. Join Cindy’s email list to receive information on the book discussion here.
