Contemplative Studies (on-line)
One of my greatest passions is studying and teaching the great texts and stories of yoga to deepen the understanding of yoga itself. My goal is to teach the ancient philosophical teachings of yoga in a way that is authentic, accessible, and applicable, guiding students to a greater understanding of how to live more loving and productive lives.
Yoga Asana Classes in Boulder, CO.
I teach yoga asana classes that emphasize both alignment and flow. Students learn how to connect with breath, connect breath with movement, and safely move to promote healing and prevent injury. My classes are tailored to the specific needs and interests of students.
The following classes are held at my North Boulder home studio.
– Brand New Beginners: for students new to yoga who need a safe, supportive, introduction to yoga in an intimate setting.
– Continuing Beginners: For those with at least some yoga experience.
– Full Circle Yoga incorporates yoga asana with pranayama and meditation to create a fuller experience of yoga. Introduction to Full Circle is a good entry point for students seeking to begin a meditation practice.
